Spanish sun / rock
This trip has been running for some many years now and provides a tasty alternative to those long winter nights, barren climbing wall sessions and the damp British weather. Warm sun and fine wine make this a great antidote to the winter blues. Oh, and it hardly ever rains.
The trips, run in the Autumn and Spring, are based in Relleu (near Sella), on the Costa Blanca.
Four to six day trips are available on a guided or unguided principle.
Accommodation is full board.
Non-guided clients will need to book a hire car (pick up at Alicante Airport). This will allow non-guided clients greater flexibility in both crag choice and the ability to stay longer at crags if desired. The cost of a small car is usually around the £70- £100. http://www.economycarhire.com/ offers a wide range of options.
Flights
All clients will need to book their flights. http://www.skyscanner.net is a good source of cheap flight options. If you book early a return flight is well below £100.
All clients must have personal accident insurance. The BMC provides good cover for this (www.thebmc.co.uk). E111’s are also essential.
